High performance recovery strategies. How do you get your body in shape mentally and physically and how can you maintain it?

One of the most important things you can do is to eat for energy.

Eat for Energy

The brain is the most energy demanding organ in the body so we need to be able fuel it properly. Ways we can do that is to eat brain healthy foods. Foods like omega-3s help with memory and cognition. Salmon, walnuts, avocado, antioxidants, fill your plate full of colour that will help protect your cells from damage.

Make sure you hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.

Get enough liquid in and break the fast.

Break-the-fast

Make sure you eat breakfast, get glucose to the brain and eat every 3 – 4 hours.
